Tean, a young orphaned waitress who has been struggling to survive on her own since she was very young, returns exhausted to her humble room after a long shift at the bar.
She is visited by her landlord, who ruthlessly informs her that the rent will double and demands two months’ rent in advance the next day, or he’ll throw her out onto the street.
Desperate, Tean turns to her meager savings, but when she checks her online bank account, she is horrified to discover that it has been hacked and all her money is gone.
Broken and with no way out, she recalls the persistent sexual advances from the bar’s customers.
Ashamed, she promises the photo of her late mother that it will be just this once, and with trembling hands, she dials the number of one of them.
